I have a 9 year old house with Peade or Pease steel entry door in the basement. One of the panes of the insulated glass are broken. I am trying to find a replacement window for the door. I understand that I need to replace the whole window unit, just trying to find the manufacturer. dmcasm

Hello. On to the windows now. Looking at replacement windows. Have a few quotes. One contractor gave us estimate on Anderson windows. A bit out of our price range probably. Sounds like Pella might be also. I was asking about another good window that would be next after Anderson and Pella. He mentioned the next one he would recommend is Cradco. I have never heard of those. Has anyone here heard of Cradco windows? If anyone knows anything about those windows I would appreciate what you think of them. Thanks!

The window I believe you are referring to is called Caradco and a division of Jels Wen. You can purchase from your local Home Depot

I purchased two vinly windows from Lowes (32x60) and want to join them prior to installation - I've heard that you can buy a kit to do so.  Insight is appreciated.
